Organization.
Agenda summary: The link between ethics and diversity, ethics and corporate social
responsibility, and the development of an ISO ethics standard. Featured speakers
included HR Professional and Ethics Officer Jacquelyn Gates; Director of Global
Initiatives and Ethics Officer Lee Essrig of the Ethics Officer Association;
and World Bank Lead Specialist Djordjija Petkoski. Registrants were offered a
free Web-based training course on corporate social responsibility and sustainable
competitiveness made available to BNA by the World Bank Institute. The course
contains an ethics component.

Agenda summary: Learn about the latest trends in workplace ethics, the value
of corporate ethics programs and ethics training, and the roles that HR, managers,
and boards of directors should play in creating an ethical organization. On July
17, Stuart Gilman, Ph.D., former president of The Ethics Resource Center, and
Jacquelyn Gates, ethics consultant to the World Bank, joined host BNA for an
informative discussion of the most serious ethics-related challenges facing companies
today. They reviewed components of effective ethics programs and explored ways
to model ethical values.
